A freshly cleaned vehicle can hide years of rushed repairs, postponed servicing, and bargain fixes. The real story often appears in smaller details: mismatched hardware, neglected fluids, uneven tire wear, or records that never quite add up. None of these clues proves mistreatment on its own, since age, climate, and ordinary use also leave marks. Several appearing together, however, can suggest that an owner focused on keeping the vehicle moving rather than maintaining it properly.
